I received my Pennies 4 Memories gift box from my husband as a birthday gift. It is such a unique gift and was packaged in a beautiful gift bag. My husband explained that I was to select a penny from the penny box to remember a special event or events from that year and memorialize them in the journal that accompanied my Pennies 4 Memories box.

This gift has brought us both so much joy. Every penny I have selected has led me to reminisce and share fond memories of my life. The first penny I selected was dated the year my husband and I met and fell in love. The second was from the year that Kings Dominion opened its doors, and my family took our first RV trip! I was twelve years old that year, but with the help of my penny, I remembered that trip like it was yesterday.

Sharing these moments with my husband and family and writing about them in my journal has been the real gift behind my Pennies 4 Memories box. Hopefully, my children will share these memories with their children someday. Thank you, Karen!
